Since my last post on Stitchfix I’ve received two more “fixes” and the latest has been my favorite of all. If you aren’t familiar with this online styling company, the way it works is you request an invite and then fill out an extensive questionnaire about your style preferences and sizing. You then schedule a package of 5 surprise items from small boutiquey designers to be sent to you whenever you want for $20. You get to try on the items at home and decide which ones you would like to keep and purchase, and which you would like to send back. The $20 styling fee also goes towards the cost of any of the items you choose to keep.
After you send back what you don’t want you can fill out a survey about how things fit and what you liked and didn’t like about them so that they can better fit your preferences when you choose to receive another one.
So I told myself I should stop, but it’s a little too much fun to get surprised with clothes in the mail so this was my third time receiving a package. I had requested they focus on tops and blouses because last time I kept a pair of pants and I’ve already outgrown them thanks to too much squatting.
The beauty of trying them on at home… the messy room in the background, please ignore. But this was a flattering and soft striped tank but I unfortunately already own one nearly identical so I easily talked myself out of keeping it. Completely my style though.
I abuse scarves. I wear them everyday. This was a keeper before I even took it out of its packaging.
I didn’t think I would like this because I can’t stand looking at white on my pasty complexion but I fell in love with the way it fit and it’s very soft, stretchy material. It might just have to be a June- September shirt.
And if there’s anything I wear more than scarves (or yoga pants and crossfit Ts) it’s cardigans. This one is comfy and long and I love everything about it.
And lastly, a plaid chiffon button down. I wanted to love this since it’s very similar to my go-to going out blouse but it was a bit long and frumpy looking. Oh well!
All in all this fix was very close to things I might pick out for myself. If you want to sign up, that is my referral link and I receive a small amount of credit to my account if you schedule a fix. You can also do the same when you sign up and refer friends or family.

Have you heard of or tried Stitchfix yet?

I dig the scarf, white top, and cardigan! Also, I spotted my favorite sports bra ever (or atleast it is very similar)- the gray, black, and blue from Champion! Love that thing. You’re stylin’!
haha yup, excuse the dirty crossfit clothes!
I would have also kept the scarf and white top – I love white tops in the winter but that’s only because I use bronzer and red lipstick with it! Wearing white any other way just exudes a ghostly appearance! This would be so much trouble for me because I’d keep it all and always be broke!! Wait, I am always broke!
never heard of them…love the clothing you look great!
I love all your items! I am scheduled to get my second fix next week, and it feels like Christmas!
